About Cristian
Cristian Fusco was born and raised in Positano, an idyllic village on the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. It was while Cristian was working at the five-star San Pietro Positano, a hotel renowned for its Michelin-starred restaurant, that he began to develop an intense passion for wines.
He continued to build his career at some of the finest restaurants in London including Zafferano and Theo Randall at the InterContinental hotel. While in London, Cristian began hosting small, private wine tastings and found the enthusiasm from guests meant he could share his expertise through unique wine experiences.
Back in Positano, Cristian founded Swirl the Glass to share his passion for wine with visitors from around the world. After 13 seasons as the head sommelier at La Sponda at Le Sirenuse hotel, Cristian is proud to devote his expertise to Swirl the Glass full-time.

Cristian holds certifications from the Italian Association of Sommeliers (AIS) and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
The family owned and operated vineyard and winery was beautifully situated, and we were treated royally.
